Latent Space Search Analytics

Privacy policy

Last updated October 20, 2026.

Latent Space operates this internal tool to analyze the search performance of latent.space. It is intended for authorized operators.

Google data we access

With an operator's permission, the app uses the Google Search Console read-only scope to identify accessible properties and retrieve search performance data, such as queries, pages, dates, countries, clicks, impressions, and average position. It does not use this permission to change properties or settings.

How we use and store it

We use this data to prepare internal search-performance reports and inform Latent Space's content and site decisions. The collector runs on an operator's computer. Its authorization credentials are stored in macOS Keychain, and collected data and reports are stored in private local project exports. Authorized team members may use the resulting reports for Latent Space's operations.

The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Retention and control

We retain local exports for operational analysis until they are deleted by an operator; copies may also exist in backups. You can revoke the app's Google access through your Google Account's third-party connections. To request deletion of locally stored data or ask about this policy, email swyx@latent.space.

Website hosting
